The Panasonic TXP46ST30B is the perfect option for people who want a 46 inch television, with high definition and 3D features. Many television sets claim to be high definition, but this is the real deal, with its full 1080 picture. One of the things that really stands out on this model is the glossy black finish. Panasonic made designed the buttons and inputs on this model to be hidden, to give it a leaner appearance.

The Panasonic TXP46ST30B uses plasma technology to create one of the crispest pictures on the market. Viewers will think they are on the actual movie set with the 3D technology implemented into this television. Panasonic still incorporated a normal mode into this set, so people do not have to own a second television to watch programs that lack 3D capability. People were often frustrated with older plasma technology, as viewing from a side angle produced distorted images and colours, however, people will notice that issue no longer exists with the Viera technology.

Owners will be pleased to find the model serves as both a television and computer, with its WiFi ready function. Plasma televisions should not be left on for extended periods of time, therefore Panasonic incorporated and off timer into this model, which will automatically shut the television off after the user sets the time limit. A password can be used to prevent children from watching television, with the child lock feature. People who want to watch unlimited programming without having cables strung throughout their home, will be very happy with the addition of Freeview, which is a tuner integrated into the television set.

The Panasonic TXP46ST30B also features four HDMI inputs so people can have up to four high definition devices, without ever having to unplug anything. People will still be able to play those older video game consoles, as Panasonic decided to keep the audio visual connectors on the model. In addition to the four HDMI and two audio visual inputs Panasonic decided to add two USB ports so people can connect even more devices with the set. The high definition and 3D television market is extremely competitive, but Panasonic has really set the standards high with these types of features.

Panasonic did not stop with all of these excellent features, as they realized that the perfect picture is worthless without good sound. The unit's sound system stars with two speakers, rated at 10 watts each. With music, speech and user modes, viewers can further customize the sound coming from the set based upon the type of program they are currently watching. With the addition of virtual surround sound, people can experience movie theater like sound without having to wire numerous speakers around the room.

The Panasonic TXP46ST30B has everything people could ever want in a television. Panasonic could have chosen to simply make the television up to par for a few years to come, but they skipped that and created a television filled with technology equipped to last for many years to come. This is not mention how good of a reputation Panasonic has created for themselves, dating back to the black and white television days. Panasonic packs a ton of features into the luxurious 46 inch screen, and while people may not get the exact home movie theater experience they have dreamed of, it will still bring plenty of viewing pleasure.
